Willingham has been in the writing game for 30 years. Combine the 120+ issues of his own folklore-gone-wrong “Fables” series on Vertigo (DC Comics) with its very own Fablescon, the ample spin-offs and the fact that this guy lived in a castle in Italy to finish his most recent novel and you have a bona fide badass on your hands. If you are into comic books and aren’t hip to the name “Bill Willingham,” there’s a special place in Hell just for you.
